She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Bradley Krenek, Koehler (Eric) Molina, Ashley Krenek, Klinton Pfiester, and Nicholas (Charlie) Miller. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Drew (Savana) Simental, Klea Simental, and Rian Molina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Wetz of Hooks and Willie Mae (Wetz) Morris of New Boston, and her sisters LaNell Smith of New Boston and Eva Jo Ward of Hooks.
Mary was a woman of great creativity and independence. She was well known for her talent in ceramic painting and her green thumb in the garden. A true entrepreneur at heart, she remained spirited and driven throughout her life. She was a skilled quilter, an expert seamstress, an avid reader, and had a passion for cooking. Above all, Mary loved the Lord and her family deeply. She had a beautiful spirit that touched everyone she met. Her independence, strong faith, and joy in giving — particularly through the ceramic Christmas trees and mushrooms she shared — will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
