WHERE: I-30 at U.S. 82 & SH 98, New Boston WHAT: I-30, U.S. 82 & SH 98 traffic to be stopped at 15-minute intervals & SH 98 eastbound ramps to be closed for work Due to nightly preventative maintenance work on Interstate 30 bridges crossing U.S. Highway 82 and State Highway 98 in New Boston, traffic will be disrupted.
All traffic on I-30, U.S. 82 and SH 98 in this area is scheduled to be stopped for 15-minute intervals throughout the night starting Sunday, October 12 at 8 p.m. The eastbound entrance ramp from SH 98 will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. each night.
Crews are scheduled to wrap up their nightly work by 6 a.m. each day.
The work, which involves replacing bearing pads and rocker joints, is expected to take place nightly all week. The estimated completion date is subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
