In volleyball action last week, the New Boston Lady Lions took down Liberty- Eylau in three straight by a score of 25-19, 25-16, 2520 on Tuesday, but fell to the Queen City Lady Bulldogs on Friday.
On Tuesday, Lauren Richards was a force for the Lady Lions with eight kills and nine digs, while Lydia Barrett also made her presence known with eight kills.
Aliyah Pickens also had five kills up front and senior Bo Hurst had 17 assists and eight digs. Also making the stat sheet for New Boston were Azlynn Crider with 10 digs and a pair of aces, Na Lai Vargas with nine assists and a trio of digs and Summer Graham with eight digs, a kill and three aces from the service stripe.
