With just two games left on the schedule for 3A-2 District 10 football it is crunch time and the New Boston Lions are the only team left with a legitimate chance to knock off the unbeaten Daingerfield Tigers.
The Lions will first have to get by Hughes Springs this Friday night in a must win game before they face the Tigers in the final week of the season.
The Lions are now 2-2 in district after their 18-14 loss to Hooks last week and the Hornets are now 3-1 and tied with DeKalb for second place. They will face the Bears in a final week showdown with huge playoff implications next week after they host the 1-7 Redwater Dragons this Friday.
