The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office has received complaints that Bessie Gamble-Williams is fraudulently claiming to be an Ambassador for the United States Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program. Our investigation has confirmed this to be true. She is not associated with their charity in any way. Please do not donate toys or money to this individual if the intent is for the Toys for Tots charity.
Bessie Gamble-Williams has propaganda materials that advertise her fraudulent association with this charity. It also includes a copyrighted Logo for the Toys for Tots 501(c)(3) charity.
This is a SCAM. Gamble-Williams is not associated with the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program in any manner.
A misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued for Gamble by the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office but she has not been arrested as of press time on Monday.
