District football wrapped up last Friday and teams are now in the first round of the state playoffs.
The New Boston Lions ended their regular season with a tough 54-7 loss last Friday night to the district champion Daingerfield Tigers, but enter the playoffs Thursday as the 4th seed and will take on a very tough Edgewood Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs were undefeated in district play and outscored opponents so far this season by a margin of 297-83.
