In their fourth year of taking graphics design classes, three New Boston High School students are taking the skills they have learned in class into real world practical applications.
Seniors Bret Crisman, Julie Jones, and Kenneth (Kenny) Curb,III, are students in Graphics Design practicum at NBHS. Through the class, they are turning their graphics design artwork into job possibilities.
“We do need real world experience and we can’t really get real world experience unless we’re actually out there doing things in the real world,” Crisman said. “And while we’re helping them with things that they need or want done, we can get experience for ourselves while we’re doing that besides we’re already learning in school.”
