Football glory at DeKalb High School became more than a memory Friday night, as the Bears closed out their playing days at ancient Harold Ward Stadium with a stunning 21-0 victory over the Pleasant Grove Hawks. The victory enabled DeKalb to finish in a four-way tie for first place in the final District 13-3A standings with a 6-2 record. The win also catapulted them into the state playoffs as the district’s first place representative.
