Sandra Kay Young, age 77, of New Boston, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.
She was born on December 16, 1947, in New Boston, Texas to Johnny and Callie Youngblood.
Kay was a member of Red Bayou Methodist Church – New Boston.
She enjoyed going to the lake and fishing, gardening, and going to softball games to watch her granddaughter play.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Callie Youngblood; and her nephew, Joe Youngblood.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Murray Young of New Boston, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Cristy and Cade Crawford of Paris, Texas; her grandchild, Callie Crawford of Paris, Texas; her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Margie Youngblood of New Boston, Texas; a nephew, Jeff Youngblood and wife Alice of Richardson, Texas; her brothers-in-law and sisters-inlaw, Bill and Kay Young of Pearland, Texas, Bryan and Marybeth Young of Hephzibah, Georgia, Larry and JoEllen Shofner of San Augustine, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Red Bayou Methodist Church – New Boston, Texas.
Arrangements are being made under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home – New Boston, Texas.
