Squads from DeKalb made the trip down Hwy. 82 Friday night to take on the home court New Boston squads in district matchups.
When the dust settled, the Lady Bears left the hardwood as the victors over the Lady Lions by a score of 44-35, and the Lions took down the visiting varsity Bears by a score of 54-51.
After tournament action over the holidays, both teams will return to district play on January 6 with DeKalb hosting Redwater and the Lions traveling to Queen City.
