This is my New Year’s Timeline of things I may have misplaced between carpool and caution lights.

I’ve been alive long enough to know this: children come into the world knowing things we spend adulthood trying to remember. Somewhere between infancy and insurance policies, we misplace the good stuff.t So here’s my New Year’s offering—a timeline of lessons learned early, forgotten often, and worth reclaiming now. Consider it a reunion tour of wisdom, featuring a blonde twin who once thought Band-Aids fixed everything (and honestly, still does. My mom had me put a Band-Aid on a wound in the 4th grade, but I needed 40 stitches in my leg instead. So Band-Aids help most of the time).
