Dr. Kendrick White, formerly of New Boston, was welcomed to Rocky Mount Family Medical Center in North Carolina.
Dr. Kendrick comes to Rocky Mount Family Medical Center from Asheville, NC after completing his Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine training in Western North Carolina. He and his wife Taylor are excited to move into the area and to be a part of the community. They are expecting their first child in January. Dr. White is ready to start his career with Rocky Mountain Family Medical Center, where he can see a full spectrum of patients including babies, children, and adults. In addition to routine primary care, he has a particular interest in behavioral medicine in the primary care setting including helping those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction.
Dr. White is a 2010 graduate of New Boston High School. He has is a Bachelor of Science Graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branche and did his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Hendersonville, NC and Addiction Medicine Fellowship at MAHEC in Asheville, NC. He is the son of Rodney and Madeline White of New Boston, and the grandson of Emma White of New Boston and the late Mary Wells of Maud.
