There’s always something fun to do on Saturdays in downtown Texarkana! The Texarkana Museum System presents “Canned Christmas 2,” a workshop featuring crafts using vintage canning jars from the P. J. Ahern home, located in the Quality Hill Historic District. Participants will make two complete gifts appropriate for Secret Santa or Christmas stuffers.
“We’re continuing our Christmas preparations with two new mason jar crafts,” explained TMS Curator, Jamie Simmons. “This time we’re making one homemade beauty product and one kit-style jar, so there is sure to be something to appeal to anyone on your Christmas list.”
