Four people started the new year off behind bars in connection with a shooting a week earlier, officials said.
Lynzee Paige Frazier, 20, Christopher Jaden Hurd, 18, Devon Antwane Hurd, 24, and Carmen Marie Degollado, 23, were all charged with deadly conduct for a shooting which occurred about 3:30 a.m. December 26 on Farm to Market Road 2789 in Malta.
The four are charged with allegedly firing at a house with a 5-year-old child inside, said Chief Deputy Robby McCarver.
