STACY HANES HENSEL

Stacy Hanes Hensel, age 60, of Hooks, Texas, went home to her Heavenly Father on January 6, 2026.

Stacy was born on April 28th, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Stacy was a devoted “Yaya,” a role that brought her the greatest pride and deepest joy, her grandbabies. Always willing and ready to be a bonus Yaya to anyone who needed one. That was how she loved: fully, selflessly, and without hesitation. A devout Christian, her faith shaped her kindness, her patience, and the grace she extended to everyone she met.

She was dependable and selfless, always present and always willing, often giving more of herself than expected. Her strength and steadiness were a source of comfort to many. Surrounded by the love she so freely gave, Stacy now rests in glory in the presence of her Heavenly Father.

Stacy is preceded in death by her late husband, Ray Watt, and her father, Robert Dale Hanes. She is survived by her husband, Paul Hensel, of Hooks, Texas; her children; and her beloved grandbabies, Veda K, Hudson, Laine, Caroline, Anna Kate, and Jack Turner.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 3:00 PM at Christian Warriors Church, Texarkana, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Hooks Children’s Ministries or Texas’ chapter of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Edward Beshears, and her parents.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Georgetown Cemetery, 617 Cemetery Road, Pottsboro, Texas 75076.

Nita will be remembered for her faith, her love for family, and the joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
