With just a week left in the regular season for basketball, the New Boston Lions went head to head with the Queen City Bulldogs last Friday with the Lions falling by a score of 58-41. The Lady Lions won their varsity contest by a final score of 48-41 In other basketball action last week, the DeKalb Lady Bears won their district matchup with New Boston by a score of 54-40, and the Lady Hornets roasted the Lady Rabbs on Friday by a score of 62-35 but then fell to LE on Saturday in a tight one by a final of 53-49.

At press time on Monday, the girl’s district standing saw Liberty-Eyla leading the way at 9-0 followed by Hooks at 7-2, New Boston at 5-4 and then DeKalb at 4-4.
