The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) would like to announce that Dana C. Moore, P.E., has been appointed the new area engineer in Texarkana.
In her new position, Moore will oversee maintenance and construction activities in Bowie and Cass counties. She began her new duties on January 21, 2026. Moore has served as the assistant area engineer in Texarkana since 2021, overseeing construction operations on 39 projects totaling over $330 million.
Moore’s career with Tx-DOT began in 2001 after her graduation from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science. Moore earned her professional engineering license in 2010.
