Local dominoes champion John Flanery, and his partner Larry Jackson, traveled recently to the World Dominoes Championship and came back home to Texas with the top prize.
The event was held in Carnegie, Oklahoma with over 100 top flight dominoes players competing for the championship. Flanery and Jackson played 17 matches in all and lost only one game throughout the championship play to earn the title of World Dominoes Champion.
Along with the title, the pair came home with the championship trophy and a cap proudly announcing them as world champions.
