Tickets are officially on sale for the 2026 Texarkana Airshow, returning to the Texarkana Regional Airport on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Presented by Red River Credit Union, the event marks the first airshow in Texarkana in more than 30 years and is expected to draw families and aviation fans from across the region.
The Airshow takes place just days before America’s 250th anniversary and will serve as both a patriotic tribute and a major regional attraction. It also reflects renewed momentum for aviation in Texarkana. With the recent expansion of the Texarkana Regional Airport and the reopening of Texarkana College’s aviation technology program on-site, the region is strengthening both its infrastructure and workforce pipeline. Together, those efforts help position Texarkana as a growing hub for aircraft maintenance and service.
“Aviation is part of the American story,” said Brandon Sanders, director of aviation technology for Texarkana College. “For us, this isn’t just about airplanes in the sky, but about honoring the American spirit of innovation and hard work that built the aviation industry in the first place. As the country gets ready to celebrate 250 years, we’re excited for Texarkana to host something that brings families together and shows young people what’s possible in this industry.”
