Diamond action is back in the spotlight now for area sports teams with tournament action all around the area.
This week is the annual New Boston Classic with games scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the boys and Friday and Saturday for the girls. Teams in this year’s tournament include the host New Boston, Paul Pewitt, Maud, Queen City, Daingerfield and Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill in the boy’s brackets and Avery, Pittsburg, Maud, Chapel Hill, Liberty-Eylau, Paris and Harts Bluff for the girls.
