By Susan Lindsey Staff Reporter When you make it to celebrate 100 years, family and friends want to celebrate you. And that’s just what happened when Geraline Young celebrated her 100th birthday Saturday at Sugar Mill Bakery & Events.
More than 100 people attended the event to honor her centennial celebration.
Geraline, known to many as Jerry, was born February 22, 1926, at her family home on the Mahone Farm in the Rock Creek Community near Maud, Texas. She was the third of four living children and first of two daughters.
