In Baseball action last week, the DeKalb Bears split a pair of contests as the fell on Tuesday by a score of 10-2 to Atlanta but then bounced back to beat the Tigers from Daingerfield on Friday by a score of 5-2.
Hurler Dom Dunn earned the win on Friday allowing four hits and one run in five innings of work on the bump. At the plate, senior Walker Matteson led the way with two RBI’s in the contest. Connor Powell, Dunn and Blaze Dick each contributed to the win with an RBI apiece.
The Bears are scheduled to host Redwater this Friday with the first pitch slated for 7 p.m.
