The DeKalb Lady Bears continued dominating opponents last week with a 13-3 win over New Boston on Tuesday, followed by an 11-1 win over the Lady Dragons on Friday.
Through the win on Friday, the Lady Bears had not lost a game since a tournament game to Gunter on February 27 and in that timeframe have won seven times and had a 4-4 tie with Rains.
In that span of games, ace senior hurler Kaydee Brown has been almost untouchable, including 11 strikeouts in a shutout win over L-E, 11 strikeouts in a shutout win over Buffalo, and 17 strikeouts in a 7-1 win over Atlanta.
