A&M-Texarkana to Introduce Inaugural Dean of the New College of Engineering and Computing at the Forest Products Decarbonization Forum on April 9th
Texas A&M University- Texarkana will host the 2026 Forest Products Decarbonization Forum on April 9, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the A&M-Texarkana Campus. The event is open to the public and will be held in Eagle Hall, located inside the Anita and Truman Arnold University Center building. The forum will bring together industry leaders, technical experts, and community partners to discuss sustainability, decarbonization strategies, and emerging trends in the forest products sector.
The event will begin with breakfast and a networking session at 8:30 a.m. At approximately 9:30 a.m., University President Dr. Ross Alexander will introduce the inaugural Dean of the new College of Engineering and Computing. Formerly the College of Business, Engineering, and Technology, continued growth of the university and the rapid addition of additional degree programs necessitated splitting the previous college into two academic entities, the College of Engineering and Computing and the Anita and Truman Arnold College of Business.
