Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” (NKJV)
Blessed & Filled! These are two things that I definitely want in my life. I want to be blessed by God and filled with everything that He has for me. If I hunger and thirst for the things of God and His righteousness, then to be blessed and filled is my promise and my portion. Have you ever noticed the people that have the favor and blessings of God all over them?
These are the people that have a heart for the things of God. The people that when they pray, they say, “God, I just want more of You. I want Your characteristics. Help me with my integrity and character.” These are the people that want to be righteous and blameless before God. Their heart is focused on the things of Heaven and their mind is filled with the purposes of God.
