Sue Anderson, age 86 of New Boston, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 25, 2026 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sue was born April 3, 1940 in Tatum, Texas. She was a dedicated and faithful servant to the Lord, the community of New Boston and First Baptist Church New Boston.
She was welcomed into heaven by her son, Steven Brooks, her sister, Lucy Hollowell, her loving husband, Sam Anderson, grandson, Christopher Arendt, great grandson Judah Brooks and great granddaughter Kayden Zuelly.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law, Mark and Linda Brooks, Kirk and Dawn Brooks, Joel Brooks, and two daughters Kayla Ridgeway and Samantha Anderson. Bonus children: Belen Navajas, Rachel and Fábio Monnerat, Christiano and Pierina Simões, Fernanda and Luiz Ladeira, Rodrigo and Sara Simões, Coki Ruiz and Rocky Vignola, Joe Monsivais, and Deborah Atkinson.
Grandchildren Danielle Brooks, Brittney and Brandon Lingle, Kristi and Brent Black, Stephanie and Daniel Rios, Kimberly Arendt, Lee and Emily Blanks, Scott & Amber Brooks, Brandon Brooks, Lauren and Andrew Mascoe, Lacy and Gavin Flowers, Phillip Crawford, Justin Heath, Kevin Miles, Hannah Miles, Ashley, Ebony, Rob, Nate, Amber and Lexi Avery.
Great grandchildren include Bentley, Kinley and Wiley Brands, Josie, Judson, Joy and John Brooks, Brent BB, Lillian and Brooks Black, Warren Rios, Kaydence Lyda, Homer Lee, Salem, and Lindsey Blanks, Eli and Selah Brooks, Kash, Blakelyn, and Oakley Brooks, Addey Graf, Jolie, Landry and Logan Mascoe, Montana and Malachi Flowers and Kali Avery. Bonus great grandchildren: Enzo and Valentina Monnerat, Roger, Maria and Christian Simões, Mateus and Lucas Ladeira, Clara Simões.
Viewing will be Saturday, May 2, 2026, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston, Texas.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2026 at First Baptist Church New Boston.
Dr. Patrick Hunter, Bro. Ken Cox and Bro. Terry Hughes officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 PM at FBCNB. Interment will be at Ringwood Cemetery, New Boston, Texas under direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
