Let’s Battle Cancer Banquet

The Let’s Battle Cancer Together Foundation held its second annual fundraiser banquet Saturday at Elk-Meadow Game Ranch. This year’s theme was Hawaiian Luau. The annual banquet is one of the major fundraising events that allow the foundation to provide financial assistance to individuals battling cancer in the area. Since the foundation began in 2023, they have provided more than $35,000 in assistance. Founder Charlie Clark said there 65 people approved for assistance this year with more expected before the year ends. Clark said he began the foundation after the community rallied around him following his own diagnosis and treatment in 2023.
