The “Missing Officer” Table is displayed at the annual Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Fallen Officer Memorial Service at the Barry B. Telford Unit in New Boston. The table is a tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty while serving as correctional officers. Staff and guests gathered inside the chapel at the Telford Unit to honor fallen correctional officers. The Fallen Officer Memorial is held annually during National Correctional Officers Week, the first full week of May. Telford lost one of their own in July of 2015 when Officer Timothy Davison was killed in the line of duty
