A New Boston man is dead following a motorcycle accident in Bowie County last week.
The accident happened about 1:20 p.m. Monday, May 11 on Farm-to-Market Road 992 north of New Boston.
According to the preliminary investigation, Cody Boiles of New Boston was traveling north on FM 992 when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of the motorcycle he was driving. Boiles laid the motorcycle over and struck an oncoming vehicle traveling in the southbound lane.
