The Hubbard Independent School District Board of Trustees is excited to name Amanda Tidwell as the lone finalist for superintendent.

Amanda D. Tidwell, M.Ed., is an accomplished K-12 educational leader and administrator with over a decade of progressive experience in school operations, instructional design and curriculum coordination. She ahs spent nine years in leadership roles, including serving as a secondary principal, district curriculum accountability coordinator and elementary assistant principal across multiple school districts in Texas and Oklahoma. Certified as a PK-12 principal and superintendent, Amanda specializes in data-driven school improvement, instructional coaching and ensuring equity- focused education for first-generation and underserved learners.
Her instructional expertise is uniquely complemented by a twelve-year foundational background as a paralegal and law office administrator, lending her deep insight into regulatory compliance, risk management, stu- dent rights and due process. Amanda holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University- Commerce and a Superintendent Certification from the University of North Texas. She is currently an Alumni Board Member and a doctoral candidate at East Texas A&M University-Commerce.
She will wait the required 21-day holding period before officially assuming the position.
