On Saturday, June 25th, 2022, at approximately 10:50 PM, Officers with the DeKalb Police Department were dispatched to the shooting of a carhop at Sonic Drive-In located at 500 East Front Street in DeKalb.
According to a statement by DeKalb PD, it was discovered that the victim and suspect were in a physical altercation before the victim was shot.
The victim was transported via LifeNet Air with life threatening injuries.
