A stretch of New Boston highway will memorialize mayor Johnny Branson, the city limits will be extended and the announcement of a new code enforcement officer were among the agenda items at the regular meeting of the New Boston City Council.
The council met Tuesday, June 20.
A portion of US Hwy 82 that runs from North Elm to the western city limits will be renamed the Johnny Branson Memorial Highway.
