The ministry of Manna Kitchen will continue feeding those in the area that are in need, with a new name, a new location and a revived community support.
Tapp United Methodist Church announced last night that what will now be called Community Kitchen will begin its services next week. The church issued a statement saying, "The community led and community financed meal outreach, formerly known as Manna Kitchen, will begin cooking and serving meals from Tapp United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. This new outreach will continue to be a community led and community financed ministry."
The church has offered up its existing kitchen to the ministry, and the community is already rallying behind the effort with monetary donations and other needs.
