A New Boston graduate and former coach at Maud ISD is now proud to return home as he joins a seasoned coaching staff in De Kalb.
Jordan Higgs started his coaching career as a De Kalb Bear in 2014. After taking some time away from coaching, Higgs and his wife found themselves back in Bowie county upon the arrival of their newborn son.
“After making the move back home from North Carolina I wound up coaching at Maud”, said Higgs. “I have been there for the past two years but I was excited when I found out about an opportunity at De Kalb.”
