The 2022 De Kalb High School Homecoming Queen landed herself a spot on the Houston Energy, a professional football team part of the Women’s Football Alliance.
Jessica Rivas got the attention of much of the Ark-La-Tex in her role on the offensive and defensive line as part of the De Kalb Bears football team. Since then, Rivas has begun attending college at Texas A&M University in Commerce, TX.
Head Coach and Owner of the Houston Energy, Brian Wiggins told of Rivas joining the team.
