What was rivalry week for the New Boston Lions and De Kalb Bears ended in two dominant wins for the Bears on the baseball and softball diamonds.
Traveling to New Boston, the Bears wasted no time getting bats hot in the first inning. With the bases loaded the Lions surrendered a walk- in run to the Bears. The very next at bat yielded another run in Bear favor after a ground ball hit by Cortlen White allowed Kaleb Dooley to score.
