Spotlight Games of the Week
The Maud Cardinals spared no time scoring runs in Monday April 11th’s contest vs Linden-Kildare. and went on to the win the game by a score of 9-4.
The night’s first score came in the bottom of the first inning when Evan Acosta hit a single that allowed Rip Thomas and Cason Leavitt to score. The next two at bats for the Cardinals yielded more runs. Trentyn Sissons hit a double allowing Hawkins to score, moving Acosta to third. A ground ball hit by Brock Windham and an error by Linden-Kildare allowed Acosta and Sissons to score on the next at bat.
