Amar Love from DeKalb High placed 2nd in the state powerlifting meet in the 198 lb. weight class. He also received an award for outstanding deadlifter in the heavy weight platform. During the competition, Love completed a 635 pound dead lift, a personal best. Love finished the competion just 15 pounds short of 1st place. Congratulations Amar.
