The Hooks Hornets slapped 10 unanswered runs on the De Kalb Bears in Friday March 24’s district matchup.
Matthew Hays pitched all five innings of the Hornets run rule victory allowing three hits while throwing four strikeouts. Carter Harris had a productive night at the plate with a pair of hits, two runs scored, and two RBIs for the Hornets. Kameron Choate and Trip Baysinger also contributed to the win with a pair of runs scored runs, Baysinger was the big stick in the contest with three RBIs.
