Recycling event this weekend in Bowie County

Bowie County will host a recycling event on April 22, 2017 in the parking lot of the courthouse located at 710 James Bowie Drive in New Boston, TX from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The public is encouraged to drop off any unwanted electronic devices including desktop computers, printers, laptop computers, televisions, radios, all types of phones and small appliances such as microwave ovens, toaster ovens, etc… Paper products such as cardboard, office paper, newspaper, books and magazines will also be accepted.
Items Not Accepted:
No Acids
No oil or PCB-containing devices
No Paints/Liquids of any kind
No Radioactive Materials
No Refrigerants
No Large Appliances (such as Refrigerators, Stoves, Ovens, Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Clothes Dryers, Water Heaters, Air Conditioners, etc…)
The recycling event is sponsored by the Ark-Tex Council of Governments in conjunction with Bowie County through a grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
