The New Boston ISD Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Rose Mary Neshyba and appointed an interim superintendent in a special meeting held last night.  Dr. Neshyba has accepted a position with Lake Worth ISD.  The Board appointed Roger Hailey to serve as interim superintendent, as they begin the search for the next NBISD Superintendent.  Hailey is a retired superintendent who has held positions at several local districts, including Atlanta ISD, Liberty-Eylau ISD, and, most recently, Linden-Kildare.  The Board also made some changes within itself, as Rob Carr was named Board President, with Kyle Irwin taking the Vice-President position.  Paula Williams will continue to serve as Board Secretary, with Paula Turner serving as Assistant Secretary.  Look for the full story in next week’s Tribune.
