The DeKalb Independent School District has launched a new mobile application for smart devices.
Developed in partnership with Gabbart Communications, the DISD Mobile App is officially live and available to students, staff, families and community members. The app is compatible with both Apple and Android devices and can be downloaded for free by searching “DeKalb ISD” in your device’s app store.
Dr. John Booth, Superintendent of DeKalb ISD said. “One of the DeKalb Independent School District goals is to become more transparent and user-friendly. We are excited about the possibilities this App will offer us. It will be a convenient way to communicate with students, parents, and community members quickly and effectively”.
The objective of the DISD Mobile App is to serve as a one-stop resource for families and students in the district. The app, while highly secure and flexible, provides instant mobile access to the student gradebook, student attendance information, breakfast and lunch menus, sports schedules, district calendar, social media channels and much more.
