Flanery inducted into Texas Dominoes Hall of Fame

Local businessman and domino aficionado John Flanery was recently inducted into the Texas Domino Hall of Fame, in a ceremony held at the site of the State Domino Tournament in Halletsville, Texas. Flanery credited his playing partners over the years for making him a better player, and his wife, Michelle, for her years of support and being his biggest fan. Those playing partners include Don Pinkham, Ed Calvit, Bruce Crouch, Charles Waltman, Gary McGill and Ray Hardin, to name a few.
Flanery stated that his Induction into the Texas State Hall of Fame is a dream come true, and he will be forever grateful for the honor and the opportunity to have his name etched in history alongside some of Texas’ greatest domino players.
