BERNICE INMAN MARTIN

Bernice Inman Martin of De Kalb, Texas passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at a Hot Springs, Arkansas hospital. She was 78.

Bernice was born March 11, 1944 in Texarkana, Arkansas to William Grady and Maggie Burns Wilsford Inman. She was a retired paraprofessional for De Kalb ISD. Bernice was a member of Pinkham Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Martin; and two brothers, Dean Inman and Roy Inman.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-inlaw, Janet Mullins of De Kalb, Texas, Tracy and Timothy Payne of Annona, Texas, and Kelly and Norris Powell of Hughes Springs, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Anna Inman of De Kalb, Texas and Estelline Owens of De Kalb, Texas; four grandchildren, Trey Mullins, Ashley Powell, Brittney Barnett, and Leslie Powell; nine great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Roddy Jackson and Rev. Brian Finn officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.

Visitation was held at 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
