CHAD EVERETT BRANT

Chad Everett Brant, AKA “Goofy”, passed away October 24, 2022. He was born March 4, 1977 to Martha and Jimmy Brant.

He is survived by his parents, brother Jimmy Brant, Jr., sister Laura Brant, wife Candace Brant, sons Malicha Brant and Rico Leyo and many other relatives.

Goofy’s last request was to give to a local veteran.

Donations in remembrance of Mr. Brant will be accepted at Tapp Methodist Church and will go to Mission at Ease, a non-profit organization that takes combat veterans on hunting and fishing adventures, and uses these adventures as a catalyst to work on the mental and social growth of these veterans.

Donations may be made directly to Mission at Ease by contacting T.W. Howell or Rex Davis, or by mail to Mission at Ease, 55 Redbird Circle, Texarkana, TX 75501.

Services will be March 4, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Tapp Methodist Church.
