CLOVIS WAYNE AYDELOTT

Clovis Wayne Aydelott of De Kalb, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at a Paris, Texas hospital. He was 74.

Wayne was born December 13, 1948 in De Kalb, Texas to Curtis Leon and Dorothy Faye Peek Aydelott. He was a retired sawmill employee.

Wayne enjoyed the 27 years in the rodeo. He attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Shirley Aydelott and Glenda Aydelott.

He is survived by his wife, Sammie Mathis Harris of De Kalb, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne, Jr. and Monalesa Aydelott of Texarkana, Texas and Jimmy Don and Mary Wilkerson of Clarksville, Texas; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bobby Ray and Donna Aydelott of Bonham, Texas, Jimmy and Lucy Aydelott of Tyler, Texas, and Billy Aydelott of Troup, Texas; two grandchildren, Amaley Aydelott and Monty May; one great grandchild, Miles May; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services to be held at a later date. Cremation to be carried out under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
