DEBBIE ANNETTE JOHNSON

Debbie Annette Johnson passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at her home in De Kalb, Texas. She was 61.

Debbie was born September 23, 1960, in Paris, Texas, to John Henry and Helen Ruth Henry Earley. She was a homemaker and a member of Plantation Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas. Debbie loved quilting, gardening, cooking and being with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Shirley Earley, Ginger Chessher and Kaye Virgil; and a granddaughter, Bailey Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Mockler of De Kalb, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Devin Johnson of Texarkana, Arkansas and John and Leslie Johnson of Maud, Texas; a stepson, DJ Mockler of Pendelton, Indiana; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Freddy and Cheryl Earley, Dean and Debbie Earley and Johnny and Renee Earley; a sister, Louise Hartgrove; grandchildren, Levi and Laney Johnson, Charlie and Connor Hubbard and Lexie Mockler; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Keith Griffith officiating. Cremation under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
