GLENN JAMES “BUD” MOORE

Glenn James “Bud” Moore of De Kalb, Texas passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. He was 81.

Bud was born March 16, 1941 in Texarkana, Texas to Charlie Glenn and Minnie Elliott Moore. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as an aviation mechanic. Bud was an aircraft mechanic and painter for Boeing, and worked at the Texoma Boot Repair in De Kalb. He was a member of the VFW and was a 32nd degree Mason. Bud was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons and one daughterin- law, Will and Annie Moore of Texarkana, Texas and Jim Moore of Jasper, Florida; one daughter, Aimee Moore of Jasper, Florida; two sisters and brothersin- law, Paula and Tommy Wright of WakeVillage, Texas and Karla Jones and Keith Giles of Doddridge, Arkansas; one brother, Phillip Rogers of Mustang, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. James Boyd Strain and Robby Bates. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Texarkana, Texas.

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
