HAROLD LOYD HANNA

Harold Loyd Hanna passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his home in New Boston, Texas. He was 91.

Harold was born August 7, 1931 in New Boston, Texas to Alvin and Fannie McCright Hanna. He was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. Harold was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wanda Hanna.

He is survived by one son and daughterin- law, Harold Louis and Becky Hanna of Hooks, Texas; one daughter, Donna Moreland of New Boston, Texas; four grandchildren, Tiffany Gailes and her husband, Kevin, J.J. Singleton and his wife, Shannon, Wesley Hanna and his wife, Jessica, and Brady Moreland; two great grandchildren, Brycen Gailes and Brinley Gailes; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Old Salem Cemetery in Simms, Texas with Robby Bates officiating.

Visitation was held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
