Thomas Austin Adams of Texarkana, Texas passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at a local care facility. He was 93.

Thomas was born September 8, 1929 in De Kalb, Texas to Thomas Lewis and Olive Eloice Beggs Adams. He was a graduate of Arizona State University and was a retired engineer for Motorola Electronics. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Buchanan Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas and the Tucson Masonic Lodge #4.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Celaska Beggs and Catherine Maze; and three brothers, S.L. Adams, Porter Adams, and William Adams.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Karen Adams of Washington and Thomas Paul and Vivian Adams of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Cyl Adams Reed of Dallas, Texas and Bertha Hall of De Kalb, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Nelda Adams of Wake Village, Texas; two grandchildren, Mason Adams and Marlee Adams; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Buchanan Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas with Rev. Rick Rothwell officiating. Interment will follow at Hubbard Chapel Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
